Robert A. Martin, the Anti-Defamation League’s Director of Security, addressed the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Committee on Terrorism at the organization’s midyear meeting in Dallas, Texas, on May 8, 2003. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Dallas Police Department and the Dallas FBI. Mr. Martin gave an overview of ADL and its expertise in domestic terrorism and hate crimes. Attendees were provided copies of the League’s CD ROM, “Extremism in America” and information about the League’s law enforcement Web site, www.adl.org/learn.
Mr. Martin is a former Deputy Inspector with the New York City Police Department. He served on the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force and is a member of the IACP’s Committee on Terrorism.
