ADL Commends German Foreign Minister for Telling Palestinians to End Violence and Terrorism
New York, NY, July 18, 2005 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) commended Germany's Foreign Minister for telling the Palestinians in Ramallah that a Palestinian state will only be achieved after violence and terrorism have ended.
In commending Joschka Fischer, the German Foreign Minister for his comments on July 14 in Ramallah that a Palestinian state will only be achieved after violence and terrorism have ended, Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, said, his "message is essential for a true solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
Mr. Foxman asked the Foreign Minister for his "continued leadership to convey to the international community that terrorism must not be rewarded and that moral clarity, as reflected in your remarks, is imperative for a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
