New York, NY, April 22, 2008 … In honor of Israel's 60th anniversary, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a leading provider of information and analysis concerning the State of Israel, has updated and expanded its Web site's offerings with a new section devoted to ADL's 60-year history of support for the Jewish State through advocacy and action.
The "Israel at 60" section of the League's Web site provides an overview of ADL's history of involvement with Israel, information about its missions, outreach and activism, as well as links to reports, surveys and archival records going back to 1948.

The guide includes a section devoted to debunking some of the most common misstatements about Israel, a glossary of terms, and a timeline of key events in Israel's history.
Israel Book Connections is a list of recommended, widely available books for children and teens, grades K-12, about life in Israel for kids, parents, teachers and librarians. These books present the lives of typical Israeli children and young adults in every day settings. Some of these books are historical, some involve politics and some just tell a story about someone's life who happens to live in Israel.
