ADL to Spain: We Stand in Solidarity with You in Fight on Terrorism
New York, NY, March 12, 2004 … Following the horrific terrorist attack on commuter trains in Madrid, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) communicated with Spanish officials to express condolences and solidarity in the fight against terrorism.
In a letter to Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio, ADL leaders, Barbara B. Balser, ADL National Chair, and Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, said, “We express our sincerest condolences following the heinous terrorist bombings.” The League leaders assured Ms. Palacio, “We stand in solidarity with the Spanish people in their struggle against this campaign of terrorism.”
