Arab Cartoons Demonize the U.S.-Israel Relationship in Commenting on Palestinian Efforts to Gain U.N. Recognition.
During recent weeks, newspapers in the Arab world have published cartoons with typically anti-Israel, anti-Semitic and anti-U.S. themes and imagery, commenting on the Palestinian push for United Nations recognition and membership. Many of the cartoons demonize American and Israeli opposition to the Palestinian bid, a number of which assert that this position is due to Jewish/Israeli domination and control of the United States and President Obama, and some are quite anti-Semitic in nature.
