We are writing to express our great appreciation for your reaffirmation of the American Red Cross' support for the recognition of Israel's first aid society, Magen David Adom (MDA), as a full member of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
We hope that the continued withholding of dues by the American Red Cross will help MDA in its efforts to gain recognition and admission into the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
We continue to appreciate the crucial leadership role the American Red Cross has taken on this issue.
