Urge the Senate to send a strong message that unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state is unacceptable! Time is running out for Congress to act on legislation rejecting recognition of a unilaterally declared Palestinian State and cutting of US non-humanitarian aid to such a state. Chairman Arafat has indicated he may unilaterally declare statehood as early as November 15 in violation of the Oslo Accords. Contact your Senators and urge passage of the Middle East Peace Process Support Act/S.2938 before the Senate adjourns. The House passed the bill on September 27.
