An expert with the Anti-Defamation League conducted a number of right-wing extremism trainings in New Haven.
The expert met with members of the domestic terrorism unit of the Connecticut FBI for a briefing on local Connecticut and Northeast extremist trends, ideologies, and criminal activities.
The expert also presented at the Intelligence Liaison Officers Conference, which was hosted by the Connecticut Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Participating agencies included the FBI, DEA, and Connecticut DOC. This training focused on local and national white supremacist activity, and provided information on hate symbols and tattoos to assist law enforcement in recognizing extremists and their activities in their area.
