Federal agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) received training from an Anti-Defamation League expert on extremism at ATF headquarters in Washington, DC.
Approximately 50 agents attended the training in DC, including the Chief of Staff at the US Bureau of ATF, and the Division Chief for the ATF Field Intelligence Division. Agents from regional ATF offices in Georgia, New York and Missouri participated remotely via teleconference.
The ADL training presented a detailed analysis of right-wing extremism, hate groups, symbols and trends in the United States.
