ADL Domestic Terrorism Conference in Texas

The ADL held a day-long training in Arlington, Texas, for over 125 law enforcement professionals from law enforcement agencies across the Northern Texas/Oklahoma region.   


Participating agencies included the Texas Department of Public Safety, DHS, ICE, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Dallas Police Department, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Fort Worth Police Department, Dallas ISD Police and Security, Fort Worth Fire Department Arson/Bomb Squad, US DOJ Tax Division, Oklahoma Department of Corrections, U.S. Probation Northern District of Texas, Midlothian Police Department, Southern Methodist University Police Department, Dawson State Jail, University of Texas at Arlington, Highland Park Department of Public Safety, Arlington Police Department, University of Texas Southwestern Police Department, Euless Police Department, North Lake College Police Department, Weatherford Police Department, Johnson County Constables Office, Precinct 4 Constables Office Tarrant County, and Haltom City Police Department.


Presentations included "Introduction to Domestic Terrorism;" "Watch your Backs: Officer Safety, Hate Symbols and Identifiers;" and "Homegrown Jihad: Radicalization, Activity & Case Studies."
