ADL Presents at MAGLOCLEN Conference

An Anti-Defamation League expert traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to present information on domestic terrorism at the 22nd Annual Gang Information Sharing Conference in July 2009.
Approximately 560 law enforcement personnel attended the ADL training at the conference which was hosted by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF), Maryland State Police, Baltimore City Police and the Middle Atlantic-Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network (MAGLOCLEN). MAGLOCLEN covers Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and Australia, Canada, and England.
The information-sharing conference was established to bring together federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to discuss current and emerging trends in gangs. The ADL expert provided an in-depth examination of right-wing extremism in the United States, including extremist groups, symbols, and trends.
