Posted: November 25, 2008

Sergeant Major Ronit Tubol of the Israel Police recently spoke at a ceremony organized by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) and the Anti-Defamation League.

Sergeant Major Tubol is an Intelligence Officer for the Jerusalem Central District.  In 2002 she was critically injured while traveling on a bus to work when a Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up.  After 12 days in a coma she regained consciousness and proceeded to relearn how to walk, speak, and write.

Sgt. Major Tubol has since returned to work alongside her husband who is a captain in the Israel Police.
