Lane develops ties to White Revolution, continues publishing articles from jail

Although incarcerated, Lane continues to promote his racist views on the extreme right. During the past two years he has established an increasingly close relationship with Billy Roper, the leader of White Revolution, a umbrella group of white supremacist organizations. White Revolution vice-chairman Victor Gerhard assumed control of 14 Word Press in December 2002, which had been briefly overseen by John Post, an Odinist from Napa, California. The press's resuscitated Web site serves as Lane's storefront, selling his books as well as Odinist and Nazi trinkets.
Lane's writings have also appeared on White Revolution's Web site. He has posted chapters of his novel in progress, KD Rebel, which concerns a guerrilla army of white supremacists who establish control over parts of the Midwest. These chapters are also narrated over Roper's White Revolution Internet radio broadcasts. Other Lane pieces posted on the White Revolution site include tracts entitled "Who is White," "88 Precepts," and "Polygamy." For its part, Roper's organization appears to enjoy the cachet of being associated with a well-known white supremacist like Lane, and features Lane's endorsement prominently on its home page.
