A white supremacist allegedly stabbed his African-American co-worker in Liberty, Missouri, on October 29, 2005. Authorities have described the incident, which occurred at a publishing company, as a racially motivated attack.
Edward Hubbard, 31, told police that he attacked his 50-year-old co-worker because of his race, according to court records. He has been charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
The victim was stabbed in the back, neck and ear with screwdriver, but was not seriously injured. Other employees had to pull Hubbard off his victim, according to police.
Hubbard has white supremacist symbols tattooed on his body, including a swastika on his chest.
