A Wisconsin man with admitted ties to the white supremacist movement has been arrested in Fond du Lac for allegedly manufacturing and selling pipe bombs to an undercover agent.
Nathaniel E. Pickart, 28, was arrested on June 21 after an undercover agent purchased eight pipe bombs for $350 at the home Pickart shares with his family. Pickart also promised the agent to later provide a machine gun and silencer, according to the criminal complaint.
In a personal profile he posted online, Pickart indicates that he has interests in "Skinheads" and "Anti-Zionism, White Pride and Racialism, Weapons and Equipment," according to the complaint. After his arrest, Pickart reportedly admitted being involved in the white supremacist movement.
Pickart also told the agent that he had manufactured and sold pipe bombs in the past and bragged about their lethal potential, according to the complaint.
