Anti-Semitic Assaults

A total of 22 anti-Semitic assaults on Jewish individuals (or individuals thought to be Jewish) took place in the United States in 2010, according to the ADL Audit.
The following is a list of selected anti-Semitic assaults in 2010:
- Illinois: Two suspicious packages that were intercepted on cargo planes Friday were addressed to Chicago Jewish institution are thought to have originated in Yemen as part of a plot by Al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula.
- California: At a high school party in someone's home, one boy said to another, "you kike" and punched him in the jaw, breaking his jaw.
New York: Complainant states that he was approached by a male on the street who pushed him and yelled "Go Back to Aushwitz."
- Florida: On the day before Yom Kippur students said to a Jewish student said "Jews starve themselves because they hate G-d," and she was struck 6 or 7 times in the head and suffered a concussion.
- New Jersey: Two identifiably Jewish individuals were walking down a street when an pick up truck drove past them and approx 5 paintballs were fired from the driver-side window.
