ADL Praises German Chancellor for Government's Response to Racist Remarks

Editor's note: Thilo Sarrazin, a board member of the Bundesbank, Germany's central bank, said in a newspaper interview published on August 29 that "all Jews share the same gene." Chancellor Angela Merkel condemned the remarks as "completely unacceptable" and urged the Bundesbank to take action. The League's letter to Chancellor Merkel follows.
