In His Own Words

Roberts has also implicitly compared Israel to Nazi Germany in other recently published columns.

On May 27, 2009, in "Who Will Stand Up to America and Israel?" he repeatedly called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "brownshirt." (Nazi party stormtroopers were commonly referred to as "brownshirts" for their distinctive uniforms.) Well-known anti-Semite and racist David Duke posted this column to his Web site that same day.

In "Bush Leaves Bloody Wake As Disastrous Reign Ends" published in the January 19, 2009 issue of American Free Press, Roberts also alleged that Israel's war with Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006 was designed solely to "steal part of the country for its water resources" and that Israel was "turning Gaza into Auschwitz."

In "America's Shame," published on VDare on January 11, 2009, he called Gaza a "concentration camp," alleged that Israel had been attempting to "exterminate" the Palestinians since its founding, and called the United States Congress the "U.S. Knesset" (the Knesset is the name of Israel's parliament).
