Maryland Skinheads
A skinhead group that started in the spring of 2002 as an offshoot of the Baltimore Eastern Hammerskins crew, as they phrased it on their Web site, "in an effort to be more encompassing and bring in new members and friends from throughout Maryland and the surrounding area." Led by a former Hammerskin named Jason Tankersley, the Maryland Skinheads have closely aligned themselves with the Keystone State Skinheads (KSS) in Pennsylvania, and the Vinlander Social Club, and membership has been growing.

The skinhead subculture was not originally racist —and, in fact, today around the world there remain many non-racist or explicitly anti-racist skinheads (often called sharps, for “skinheads against racial prejudice”).
