Text of The Ad
We would show you pictures of the rapes, starvation and murder in Sudan.
Truth is, there really arenít any. The Sudanese government has buried too
much evidence, and the marauding militias it turns loose on its own civilians
make it too dangerous to document the atrocities.
Their hope is that by silencing the slaughter, the world will overlook 50,000
people killed and as many as 2 million forced from their homes. And so far,
tragically, it has worked.
The world can ignore the genocide in Sudan no more. Two million Sudanese
desperately need our help. We must speak out for them. Because we know all
too well the price of silence.
